Shaun Dawson
Shaun is Chief Executive of Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, a statutory body responsible for the development and management of a 10,000 acre Park. The LVRP is in a development phase with £38 million of investment over the past 5 years. Highlights include a new 200 acre country park, a modern 120 bed youth hostel and the world class Lee Valley Athletics Centre (regional centre for London/South East).

Through Shaun the LVRPA played a key role in the London 2012 bid: legacy business planning and presentations to the IOC for two of the main venues, White Water Canoe Slalom and the Velodrome/BMX, both to be located in the LVRP. Along with the other legacy partners the Authority is involved in the detailed design and business planning for the 500 acre legacy Olympic Park. 50% of the OP parkland plus a number of venues will be in the LVRP.

Shaun has enjoyed over 20 years in the leisure industry spanning both public and private sectors.
